    7-12 ELA Teacher:

    The Shields Valley School District is seeking a full-time ELA teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Our English teacher instructs grades 7-12th, one 7th grade, and one 8th grade course; the rest are high school level courses. The position will work under the supervision of the high school building principal. We are on a 4-day-a-week schedule. Shields Valley seeks a compassionate, highly motivated, quality educator to join our team.

    The Shields Valley community is a combination of 2 towns 8 miles apart. Wilsall, where the K-6 building resides, and then Clyde Park for JH/HS. This Class-C community is about 20 miles north of Livingston,  Montana, at the base of the Crazy Mountains. Applicants must have, or be able to obtain or willing to obtain, a valid Montana Teaching Certificate.

    (There are also multiple opportunities for coaching and leadership roles for our extracurricular activity programs)

    High Needs Para Educator Opening

    Shields Valley School District is seeking a High Needs Para Educator to start immediately. This individual will work up to 9 hours daily, Monday
    through Thursday, with the occasional Friday per the board-adopted school calendar.   Job Description: In addition to the typical paraeducator
    duties of providing academic and behavioral support, this position has the added responsibility of becoming fully trained to assist and provide
    one-on-one specific instruction throughout the day.  Starting Wage: $14.56-18.89/hour. Includes insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and a
     paid annuity for those who qualify. Pay depends on education and related experience.
